Thermal water can have very different temperatures depending on the spring. Some sources are only warm, while others can reach more than 90°C. So if the water is too hot, obviously you cannot go inside directly. The water has to be cooled down before entering a swimming pool.
Diving can be pretty dicey in thermal pools, especially when you don't know the depth. Some pools are not deep enough for diving and there can also be other people or rocks underneath. So basically: don't jump into a random thermal spring just because it looks nice! 😭
